"The automaton repeats, reiterates established gestures under programmed command. Its response is inscribed in an occult way, hidden for the pleasure of a fresh gaze. What would we reply to an algorithm that has become sensitive? This automaton is a strange host, whose hospitality is conditional. Our presence parasitizes it, nourishes it, disturbs it, and transforms it to the point of saturation, to the edge of chaos. One gesture gives rise to a sound, a voice excites a parameter, the intensity of touch carries the potential unraveling of a virtual eco-system.In the in-between, a voiceless, machinic response spreads into atmospheric sound weaves. A response measured by our listening, by the attention given to resonances, to the consequences of our interactions."
